“It’s different from a few years ago when we had the same core team for a long time,” said Luus. “Now we’re seeing so many young, talented girls coming through, which shows the strength of our domestic structure.”
Luus highlighted standout performances, such as Annerie scoring her first century early in her career and Miane’s half-century in her T20 debut.
“These are things some of us waited years to achieve. It just shows how well the system is working. We’ve built a strong platform, and the younger players are taking full advantage of it,” she added.

“You can’t always rely on your senior players,” Luus noted. “Everyone is human. You need a well-balanced team, and that’s exactly what we have. It’s exciting to watch these young players grow and establish themselves on the world stage.”
